We have been building a directory of Barbados businesses since 2005, using publicly available information. Your listing is there so visitors can find you. Claiming it means you control what it says.
What does it cost?
Claiming your listing is free. Paid memberships start at BBD 500 a year and display your website link, social channels, and photos, and give you analytics. See the packages.
What if the details are wrong?
Claim the listing, free, and correct them yourself. It takes a few minutes.
What is the difference between claimed and verified?
Claimed means you have taken control of your listing and can edit it. Verified means Totally Barbados has confirmed the business is real and trading and that the details come from the owner. Verified listings carry a badge and display your website, email, and social links.
My business is not listed. Can I be added?
Yes, free. Create an account and add it. New listings come to us for approval before they go live.
What is a Photo Ad Spot?
Your photo and business name are on a guide page related to what you do, so a car rental firm appears where people are planning how to get around the island. We choose the pages by hand. Photo Ad Spots are included from Option 2 upwards.
How do the social media posts work?
We create a post using a photo from your gallery and publish it across all eight Totally Barbados channels, to a combined following of around 66,200. This is included from Option 2 upwards, with a minimum of 12 posts a year.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, any time. You can start free, move to Verified, and go further when it makes sense.
Do memberships renew automatically?
Yes, annually. We email you 30 days before each renewal so you know what is coming.
Can Totally Barbados replace my website?
For many small businesses, yes. A membership gives you a description, photo gallery, contact form, booking links, and opening hours, and you can point your own domain at it.
What happens to my domain if I stop being a member?
It transfers to you at your cost, or it lapses. We only hold domains for current members.
Do I need an account?
Yes. An email address and your first and last name. The account is what proves the listing is yours and stops anyone else from editing it.
